Abdul Rahman Alomari was a Saudi pilot who was initially suspected of being the hijacker, Abdulaziz al-Omari, who boarded Flight 11 on 9/11. He came forward when his picture was shown on CNN, though, and it was then realised that the hijacker was someone else entirely. The innocent Alomari was later interviewed by CNN about the mixup, and we’ve placed a clip or two from the video here. Please note that this is edited to show his image only, and is not representative of the whole report. (Previously we referred readers to the transcript at cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0109/21/tpt.00.html, but unfortunately that's now gone and it hasn't been recorded at Archive.org. We may upload the full report as an alternative.)
